How to choose the right wire mesh

Opening size and wire diameter
The opening, also called the aperture, is the gap between neighbouring wires. The wire diameter sets how strong the mesh is. Thicker wire lasts longer under abrasive load but leaves less open area, so material passes more slowly. Material
